Experience Bachata

You've watched people dance and quietly thought: I wish I could do that.

You can. It just takes one Tuesday night in Bridgeport.

No partner. No experience. No idea what you're doing. Perfect — that's exactly who this is for.

Solo? Good.

Students rotate every class — you'll dance with everyone.

Zero experience needed.

We start from the very beginning. Every time.

specialized focus

Connecticut's only dedicated bachata school. This doesn't exist anywhere else in the state.

There's a specific Friday night you remember. Music on, dance floor full, someone reaches out a hand and you smiled, shook your head, and stayed at the table.

Not because you didn't want to. Because you didn't know how.

Maybe you've been meaning to learn for years. Maybe you've talked yourself out of it a dozen times —I'm not coordinated, I'd look ridiculous, I'll wait until I'm ready.

Here's the thing: ready doesn't show up first. Confidence comes after the first class, not before it.

DOES THIS SOUND FAMILAR?

where to start

intro to Bachata

This is where you start and the class that changes everything. Six weeks. Small group. Spots limited — and they go fast. By week three you'll be surprised at what managed to learn.

Bachata Foundations Plus

You've got the steps. Now make them yours. For dancers who've done the intro and want to keep going. This is where bachata starts to feel like a flow instead of a checklist.

bachata traditional

The roots. The rhythm. The real thing. Old-school Dominican style — hips, timing, and learning to let the music move through you instead of thinking your way through every beat.

what happens after one class:

Every single person who walked through that door started exactly where you are.

“rebecca’s bachata classes are amazing! She creates a fun welcoming environment…I always leave feeling more confident and excited to keep dancing!”- Solei

“Rebecca breaks everything down and makes it fun. It felt really rewarding. A cool new hobby to learn with friends." — Nathan

Our Team

Rebecca Devos

Founder & Instructor

Rebecca didn't find bachata. Bachata found her — in China. She spent years living abroad, dancing through Asian and Europe, training under world-class instructors including Patrick and Johanna under the FUZE Method.

When she moved back to Connecticut, she looked around and thought: why doesn't Bachata have a strong community here? So she went to work trying to fix that. Rebecca founded the Bachata Experience studio early 2025 and it has been every since.

Randy Morales

Instructor

Randy loves teaching and preserving a piece of his culture.

Want to move faster? Or planning something unforgettable?

PRIVATE LESSONS

One-on-one with Rebecca or Randy. Tailored to exactly what you want to work on, at exactly the pace that works for you. Great for people who want to progress faster, prep for a wedding, or just feel less lost.
