Who we are
Hi, My name is Rebecca and I am the founder of The Bachata Experience. I create The Bachata Experience to bring more dancing, specifically Bachata to Bridgeport, CT and the surrounding area. We are the only school in Connecticut dedicated to teaching bachata!
Dancing and bachata has changed my life. It is always there no matter where you live or what you are going through. After living abroad, I am excited to bring more opportunities to my home.
Meet Jhony, co-teacher for The Bachata Experience. Jhony comes from New York and has a passion for teaching and helping other unlock their ability to dance.

You do not need a partner to join! Students rotate so you get a chance to dance and practice with everyone.

There is street parking available. If the class time is after 6pm or on the weekend, it is free. There is also a parking garage located directly across the studio if you prefer.

Each class is non-refundable. We are unable to offer make up classes at this time.

It is ideal to wear clothes that you feel comfortable moving in and are breathable. Dance shoes or heels are suggested to make it easier to move, however you can still dance fine in sneakers.

We aspire to create a safe environment where people can express themselves through dance and movement. In order to ensure a safe an environment, we have a zero tolerance policy for discrimination and inappropriate behavior.
